What is this wavy symbol on my sheet music for piano?

It's not above the note like a trill, it's to the left. The notes are (bass clef) B right above the staff, and G, at the bottom of the staff. And there's a wavy line (that looks like a trill line) to the left going vertical. I don't know what it means, but I do know that I can't play the notes together because my hands aren't big enough. There's like 9 notes in between the B %26amp; G. Does anyone know what this symbol means? And how to use it? Thank you!!

(P.S. The music is Nearer My God To Thee from Back To Titanic.)What is this wavy symbol on my sheet music for piano?
Its called ';roll'; on the piano. Yeah it has note that are large for the hand so you technically role from bottom to up-like what a harp would do. Make sure it smooth and clean and have your arm weight behind it so all the notes speak in the quick succession. Some times in music on the same symbol there can be a small arrow on the bottom, this tells you to roll the same way but from top to bottom. In music you might see the same roll as a large one connecting both hand, just do the same and be albe to hear all the notes. Somtimes there can be when both hands have this roll but the roll is not connecting, but two indiviual rolls. So this means to roll both hands at the same time.

this should help. What is this wavy symbol on my sheet music for piano?
It represents an arpeggiated chord. Start at the bottom note and play each note in rapid succession while sustaining all the notes that are a part of it.
i don't know what it is called but you start from the bottom and play one note after another holding down the previous notes
